Legal Documents

Setting up your legal documents is another important step. The files you upload here are used in Quotations generated by CCTVpilot. Adding your official terms protects your business and makes sure your clients know your rules before agreeing to a project.


Follow these simple steps to find and open the legal documents page:

  1. Open Settings:
    Click your Profile Icon (the button showing your company name and logo) at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  2. Click on Settings (next to the gear icon ⚙️) from the menu that pops up.

  3. Look at the list of tabs on the left side of the screen.

  4. Click on the fourth tab called Legal Documents to open the page.


Here is how to manage your documents on the Legal Documents page:

  • What it does: This PDF file will automatically attach to or be included with your quotation prints.
  • How to upload a file: If no file is uploaded yet, you will see a dedicated upload box. You can simply click inside this area to browse and select a file from your device, or drag and drop your PDF right into the box.
  • How to manage an existing file:
    • Click Download current file to review the active document on your system.
    • Click the Trash Can Icon (delete button) on the right side of the file box if you need to remove or replace the file.

When you are done uploading or making changes to your legal files, don’t forget to save:

  • Click the orange Save button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  • A small message will confirm your document updates were saved successfully. All newly generated paperwork will use your updated documents right away.
