Account Security

This section lets you update your personal login details and keep your user account safe. The changes you make here are private and only protect your profile access.

How to Access Account Security

Section titled “How to Access Account Security”

Follow these simple steps to find and open the security page:

  1. Open Settings:
    Click your Profile Icon (the button showing your company name and logo) at the bottom of the left sidebar.

  2. Click on Settings (next to the gear icon ⚙️) from the menu that pops up.

  3. Look at the list of tabs on the left side of the screen.

  4. Click on the fifth tab called Account Security to open the page.

Security Actions You Can Take

Here is how you can update your login details on the Account Security page:

1. Change Email Address

Section titled “1. Change Email Address”

  • What it does: Updates the email address you use to log into CCTVpilot.

  • How to change it:

    • Type your new email in the New Email box.

    • Enter your current password in the verification box to prove it is you.

    • Click the orange Update Email button.

2. Change Password

Section titled “2. Change Password”

  • What it does: Changes your current password to a new, safer one.

  • How to change it:

    • Enter your active password in the first box.

    • Type your fresh password into the New Password box.

    • Re-type it in the Confirm New Password box to ensure there are no typos.

    • Click the orange Update Password button.

⚠️ Danger Zone

Section titled “⚠️ Danger Zone”

At the very bottom of the page, you will find the account termination section:

  • Delete Account: If you choose to click the red Delete Account button, it will permanently erase your user account along with all your projects, files, and stored data.
