Getting Started
Setting up your account takes less than a minute. Because CCTVpilot is a secure, cloud-based platform, you can access your business dashboard from a desktop computer at your office or from your smartphone while out on a job site.
Accessing the Platform
Section titled “Accessing the Platform”There are two main web addresses you use to interact with CCTVpilot:
1. The Main Website
Section titled “1. The Main Website”-

What it is: This is the public landing page where you can check product features, explore subscription details, and find helpful resources.

How to navigate: In the top navigation bar, you will find direct links for Login and Get Started buttons that send you straight to the app workspace.
2. The App Workspace
Section titled “2. The App Workspace”-
URL: app.cctvpilot.com

What it is: This is the dedicated portal where the actual application lives.

How it works: If you are not logged in yet, visiting this URL automatically opens the sign in page. If you are already logged in on that device, it bypasses the sign in screens completely and takes you right to your active projects dashboard.
Account Sign Up Screen
Section titled “Account Sign Up Screen”Use the direct link https://app.cctvpilot.com/signup when you are a new user ready to launch your 14-day free trial.
1. Continue with Google
Section titled “1. Continue with Google”- Continue with Google: Clicking this lets you register instantly using an existing Google account. It links your profile information securely so you don’t have to create a brand-new password for CCTVpilot.
- Next Step: If you choose this option, the app will instantly take you to the Company Name setup screen.
2. Continue with Email
Section titled “2. Continue with Email”- Email: Type your active business or personal email address here (for example:
[email protected]). This address will be used for important account updates, system notifications, and security verification. - Password: Create a strong, private password for your account. As you type, the characters turn into secure dots to protect your privacy.
- Confirm Password: Retype your chosen password exactly as you entered it in the previous field. This safety check ensures you didn’t make a typing error the first time.
- Promo code (optional): If you received a promotional discount or special offer code from a marketing campaign, type it here to apply it to your account tier. Leave this blank if you don’t have one.
3. Finalizing Sign Up & Verification
Section titled “3. Finalizing Sign Up & Verification”- Create account Button: Click this orange button once all required fields are filled to process your registration.
- Next Step: If registering via email, you must verify your email address via the confirmation link sent to your email inbox before you can access the app dashboard.
Account Sign In Screen
Section titled “Account Sign In Screen”Use the direct link https://app.cctvpilot.com/signin if you already have a registered account profile and want to load your dashboard.
1. Continue with Google
Section titled “1. Continue with Google”- Continue with Google: Click this if you originally registered using your Google profile, or if you connected your Google account later inside your settings. It logs you in instantly without forcing you to type your password credentials manually.
- Forgot your password? Link: If you can’t remember your password, click this link to trigger an automated recovery email with instructions to securely reset it.
2. Continue with Email
Section titled “2. Continue with Email”- Email: Type the exact email address you originally used during the registration process.
- Password: Enter the password associated with your account. You can use the eye icon on the right side of the box to see what you are typing and ensure it is correct.
- Keep me signed in Checkbox: Check this box if you are using a trusted private device. It tells the cloud portal to save your session data so you won’t be logged out automatically when you close your web browser.
3. Finalizing Sign In
Section titled “3. Finalizing Sign In”- Sign in Button: Click this orange button to submit your credentials and load your workspace dashboard.
First-Time Account Setup Flow
Section titled “First-Time Account Setup Flow”The very first time you successfully authenticate your account—either immediately after completing the Google sign-up process, or during your first login after completing your email registration verification—the app will guide you through your initial workspace configuration sequence:
Step 1: Company Profile Setup
Section titled “Step 1: Company Profile Setup”Before building your environment, the app displays a single essential configuration field:
- Company Name: Type the formal name of your security business or freelancing operation (for example: GuardView Solutions). This name acts as your root workspace identifier and will be automatically referenced throughout your dashboard.
Step 2: The Welcome Screen & Tour Option
Section titled “Step 2: The Welcome Screen & Tour Option”Once your company name is confirmed, a friendly Welcome Dialog will appear on your screen, giving you two choices for how you want to learn the interface layout:
- Watch Animated Tour: Launces an automatic, step-by-step tour that visually guides you around the application dashboard to show you where major menus are hidden.
- Explore on my own: Skips the introductory guide entirely and drops you straight into the live active interface dashboard environment.
Step 3: Getting Started Task List
Section titled “Step 3: Getting Started Task List”Once you close or complete the tour, you will land on a Getting Started checklist page designed to help you build your operational baseline.
This checklist automatically tracks your progress and checks off each task in real time as soon as you complete it within the system. To help you along the way, every task item features a dedicated button that links directly to its respective support guide page, ensuring you have clear instructions on how to complete each setup milestone.
