Logistics / Travel
The Logistics / Travel dashboard helps you keep an eye on all transport, delivery, and travel expenses for your project. This includes tracking things like vehicle rentals, fuel, or courier fees needed to move equipment to the installation site.
How to Open Logistics / Travel
Section titled “How to Open Logistics / Travel”It appears as a dedicated section directly inside your Project Details screen. You can also click the Expand Icon (the button with two small diagonal arrows) right next to the orange button to view the full logistics log on its own screen.
It opens as its own standalone page under the Operations category link.
Tracking Quoted Logistics Items
Section titled “Tracking Quoted Logistics Items”The dashboard automatically shows all the transportation entries you already created when building your project quotations.
Updating Status & Costs
Section titled “Updating Status & Costs”When you click the pencil Edit Button on a quoted item row, a window opens showing the breakdown of that expense. Here is how you can manage it:
- Actual Price Field: Type in the real amount charged for the service if it changed from your projected pricing.
- Status Dropdown: Update the tracking status to Pending, Purchased, or Cancelled.
Manually Adding New Logistics Expenses
Section titled “Manually Adding New Logistics Expenses”If you run into unquoted travel fees or need to add quick custom transport costs, click the orange + Add Logistics / Travel button to open the entry form:

Managing Quoted vs. Manual Entries
Section titled “Managing Quoted vs. Manual Entries”This tracks your entries based on where they came from:
- Quoted Logistics: Items brought over automatically from your client estimates cannot be deleted to protect your original proposal records.
- Non-Quoted Logistics: Any custom transport lines you add manually from this screen will display a clear Delete Button (Trash Icon) inside their row. You can click it at any time to remove them from your active project costs completely.
