The About page gives you a quick look at your current app version and provides helpful links for updates, support, and privacy data.

How to Access the About Page

Follow these simple steps to find and open the About page:

1. Open Settings:
   Desktop
   Click your Profile Icon (the button showing your company name and logo) at the bottom of the left sidebar.
   Mobile
   Tap your Profile Icon at the top of the screen.

2. Click on Settings (next to the gear icon ⚙️) from the menu that pops up.

3. Look at the list of tabs on the left side of the screen.

4. Click on the seventh tab called About to open the page.

What You Can Find Here

Here is a breakdown of the information and tools available on the About page:

1. App Version & Creator

• You can see the official name of the app (CCTVpilot), the company that made it (LumoCodes), and your active software version (for example: 1.0.0).

2. App Updates

• What it does: Checks if a newer version of CCTVpilot is available for your device.

• How to use it: Look at the Update Status to see when it was last checked, and click the orange Check for updates button to search for new releases.

3. Install Status

• What it does: Shows whether CCTVpilot is running directly as an installed app on your machine or inside a web browser.

• If your browser does not support installing the web app standalone, it will show an Install unavailable notice.

4. Company and Support

Use these handy shortcut buttons to open external links:

• Website: Visits the official home page.

• Contact: Opens direct channels to reach out to the customer support team.

5. Privacy and Data

Review legal rules and manage your information with these quick links:

• Terms of Service: Read the official platform usage rules.

• Privacy Policy: Read how your data is safely managed and guarded.

• Data Controls: Read the CCTVpilot-specific data controls that supplement the company-wide Privacy Policy.
